The managers and staff at Aussie Painters Direct know the difficulties faced by clients when using contractors, so we strive to make it happen when you need the painting job done, our team’s goal is to achieve successful results by having the task completed to professional industry standards on time, and as scheduled on each and every job.
Quality and Service
Our use of quality materials, service and workmanship speak for itself by not having to advertise as the greater body of our work is referral based, and includes substantial repeat works from existing customers over years. We have been a member of the Master Painters Association Queensland for over 20 years, with this comes a responsibility to supply our services in accordance with Australian Industry Standards, while also following a strict code of conduct when working for our clients.
Lowest Price Point
If the lowest possible price point is your primary concern, then maybe we are not a good fit.
As within the painting industry corners may be cut by other painters enabling them to provide the lowest quote, this improves their chances of winning the job.
This approach is even expected by some customers who strongly value the lowest possible price point over quality products and the trade services being provided. Unfortunately cutting corners on preparation works, or in other areas of the painting process will compromise the life of the products applied, and the overall job quality or level of finishes.
Another approach is when painters provide vaguely worded low-priced quotes to win jobs and then charge exorbitant amounts for minor variation works, as with painting many items can be argued as being excluded, especially when ambiguous wording is used in the quotation.
Often people only realise they have a poor quality paint job a few months or years after the painting contractor has finished and been paid for the work, other times the client is simply left with a bad experience or ongoing dispute, as they went with the cheapest quote not fully understanding how the painting industry has operated for decades.
This is the primary reason why painting quotes will vary substantially from different service providers, as some contractors may now be painting to the lowest price point, not a high standard of workmanship. Just like cheap paint vs premium grade paint you usually get what you pay for with professional contractors and their staff.
Time Frames or Deadlines
As professionals we do everything possible to ensure that every project we undertake is completed on time, this is achieved by being highly organised, excellent communications, and by having a site supervisor with the right number of qualified staff working on each job. When required due to specific client or job circumstances we have worked extended hours, nights and at times weekends to make sure that the project is completed as scheduled and expected by our clients.
In our industry the downside is that we sometimes run into variables that are very much outside of our control, examples are wet and unpredictable weather, delays caused by other trades, scheduling changes with other ongoing projects, staff issues, or suppliers may be out of stock of specific products. These unexpected events directly affect our plans on a day-to-day basis, so some degree of flexibility where possible is always appreciated.
During busy periods, we can be booked ahead for months, so it’s always best practice to discuss your painting requirements in advance so that we can plan ahead and schedule in your painting job accordingly.
